  Citizens of a Mexican farming town are threatened by bandito Calvera (Eli Wallach) and his gang who steal their harvests. The desperate townsfolk find seven American gunmen, led by Chris (Yul Brynner), to protect them. Chris and his gunmen (Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, Horst Buchholz, James Coburn, and Brad Dexter) teach the villagers the art of defense, but more than a few problems arise when Calvera and his gang return to town.    2 User Reviews

  Although it is a remake of "The Seven Samauri", it doesn't take away from the good guy vs bad guy theme. All actors were great in their rolls. And it was very well directed.
