  Godzilla is resurrected following French nuclear tests in the South Pacific, and the 90-foot monster crosses Panama and heads north where he lays waste to NYC's Wall Street and the subway system–all this with the U.S. Army in close pursuit. Also on Godzilla's trail is NRC biologist Dr. Nick Tatopoulos (Matthew Broderick), and close behind are Nick's ex-girlfriend Audrey Timmonds (Maria Pitillo), who is looking for a big news story, and French secret service agent Philippe Roach (Jean Reno), who is trying to protect his country's reputation.
