Misfit Bobby (Corey Feldman) has a crush on Lainie (Meredith Salenger). Meanwhile, high-school teacher Coleman (Jason Robards) is working on an experiment to enable his and his wife's, Gena (Piper Laurie), minds to be swapped with younger bodies. When Bobby has a bicycle accident while cutting across Coleman's yard, both his and Lainie's minds are swapped with Coleman's and Gena's.
