Basing its characters on those met by Odysseus in Homer's "Odyssey," this comedy adventure revolves around a search by three convicts—Ulysses Everett McGill (George Clooney), Pete Hogwallop (John Turturro), and Delmar O'Donnel (Tim Blake Nelson)—who escape from their Mississippi chain gang, intent on finding a buried treasure. | I`ve watched it about 7 times and can watch again today and still enjoy it... It`s not a movie you fall asleep it will keep you attentive|

| if homer had written `odyssey` as a comedy it`d be `o brother, where art thou?`|
to see clooney sing along with turturro and tim blake is worth the time spent watching the adventure unfold.
the movie is 11 years old but worth watching at least every 4 years.
