Backfire!   1995         PG-13, 89 min. Genre: Comedy Director: Dean Bell   Cast: Kathy Ireland, Josh Mosby, Mary McCormack, Robert Mitchum, Shelley Winters, Telly Savalas, Edie Falco, Jeffrey Howard, Michelle Miller, Marissa Copeland   In the tradition of "Airplane!" and "Naked Gun," this film is a spoof on another movie, in this case "Backdraft." The main difference is that this movie is not funny, though it crudely tries to be. Jeremy Jackson (Josh Mosby) is the only male fireman in an all-female fire department. Then fires break out in toilets, and the old fire marshal (Robert Mitchum) investigates. Jeremy uncovers the culprit, "The Most Evil Man" (Telly Savalas).
