The Last Days of Disco   1998         R, 112 min. But the disco is closing, and the insecurity of Alice and the self-absorption of Charlotte seem to epitomize the youth of their day: sheltered and parentally subsidized, but on the brink of new mature love and responsibility bringing a new meaning to their lives.
