Lacombe Lucien   1974         R, 141 min. However, the German gestapo wants him, and he becomes part of the Occupation Forces. His problems begin when he meets and falls in love with France (Aurore Clement), a Jewish girl. Now he, France, and France's mother (Therese Giehse) are on the run from both Resistance agents as well as the Germans. Fine directing and musical score highlight this film that doesn't shed a favorable light on the French Resistance.
