Set in Paris, the storyline involves the love affair of Violetta (Teresa Statas) and Alfredo (Placido Domingo) who live happily in their country villa. But, happiness does not last forever, and tragedy lies ahead when Alfredo's father (Cornell MacNeil) becomes involved.
