At first, Kidd refuses to help, but after his own ranch is raided, he accepts Harlan's deal and rounds up Mexican hostages. One of the hostages is Helen Sanchez (Stella Garcia), and Kidd falls in love with her. Now there are more problems—including a shoot-out between Harlan and Kidd before Kidd and Stella can return to his ranch and live happily ever after.
