Omar has plans to take over the role of a spiritual leader known as "The Jewel of the Nile" (Avner Eisenberg), and Joan ends up abducted and imprisoned. Jack and his partner Ralph (Danny DeVito) come to her rescue, and adventures ensue as they try to steer clear of Omar while crossing North Africa to escape.
