Jesse James   1939         N/R, 105 min. They succeed in their robberies, but then Jesse surrenders hoping for a brighter future. But, he is double crossed and is killed by his "friend" Bob Ford (John Carradine) who wants the reward. Fonda returns in a sequel: "The Return of Frank James."
