Anne of the Thousand Days   1969         PG, 145 min. Henry solves the problem by ordering Anne's execution, withdrawing from the Roman Catholic Church, and forming the Church of England. The film had nine Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Actor, Actress, and Supporting Actor (Anthony Quinn), and won for Best Costume Design.
