His father has been killed under mysterious circumstances, and Sir Henry asks Holmes to investigate. Holmes sends his assistant, Dr. Watson (Andre Morell) to the Baskerville estate on the Devonshire moors to look for clues. Meanwhile, Holmes hides in the moors gathering information, and, almost too late, Watson and Holmes save Sir Henry from the fate that his father suffered.
