Davis   A crazed sports fan Gil Renard (Robert De Niro), who happens to sell sporting knives, admires his baseball idol Bobby Rayburn (Wesley Snipes). Bobby is a famous player who has signed a $40 million deal with the San Francisco Giants. But, Bobby goes into a slump, and that gives Gil the idea to murder one of Bobby's chief rivals. Matters get even worse when Gil believes that Bobby is not grateful for his devotion, and he stalks Bobby and his family.
