Moriarty, Robert Russell, Laura Burton, Ian McNeice   Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel is brought to the screen for the second time—the first, in 1984, failed to capture the magnitude of the story. This one is not much better, but, as a TV miniseries nearly five hours long, it at least embraces some of the epic nature of the novel.
