When he sees film clips of Brooke, Gregory realizes that she bares a remarkable resemblance to his fiancee, Maggie Rogers (also played by Smith). Planning to write a screenplay about Brooke's life, Gregory visits a medium, Olga Nabokova (Shelley Winters), who once knew Brooke. Olga tells Gregory that he is Michael reincarnated, and Gregory realizes that the couple is now re-united, but what is the truth behind the fire that killed them?
