This story involves the nephew and namesake of Davy Crockett (George Montgomery), who is a U.S. military scout, and his cohort Red Hawk (Philip Reed). They lead a wagon train through the hostile Indian Territory, but someone in Crockett's military unit is spying on the wagon trains and tipping off the Indians who then attack. At first, Red Hawk is suspected, but he is vindicated when the real culprit is revealed.
