Simmons, Meadow Sisto, Gary Sandy   Carol (Reedy Gibbs) and Jessica (Gwynyth Walsh) are best friends in a rural Midwestern town. Jessica sleeps around, which results in her husband walking out. Carol, with her traditional values, has her problems coping with Jessica's behavior and with the arrival of young, charismatic James, an African-American, who seeks work. Matters are made more complicated by mortgage foreclosure threats and a wild daughter.
