When a couple of distant cousins sneak off for a lustful little rendezvous, their respective spouses, Maria and Larry (Isabella Rossellini and Ted Danson) get together. Larry doesn't care about his wife's infidelity; however, Maria tracks him down at work and asks if he thinks her husband and his wife are having an affair. Naturally, this is the beginning of their own affair.
