The Conformist   1970         R, 110 min. He even marries Giulia (Stefania Sandrelli). But on his way to Paris for their honeymoon, Marcello's fascist bosses give him a gun and orders to assassinate his old teacher, a political dissident. Doubts now begin to plague Marcello, and he is not sure that he is up to the task at hand.
