Child`s Play   1988         R, 87 min. Murders take place, and when Andy tells people that Chucky did it, no one pays attention. Andy's mother Karen (Catherine Hicks) asks Detective Mike Norris (Chris Sarandon) to investigate. Because Mike is romantically interested in Karen, he agrees even though he does not believe Andy's stories—until Chucky starts to strangle him. Sequels follow.
