The first story involves a chain-smoker (James Woods) and his treatment by a sadistic doctor (Alan King). The second story is about a gambler (Kenneth McMillan) and how he deals with the man (Robert Hays) who he is sure has been sleeping with his wife. And, the third story centers around a young girl (Drew Barrymore) who is being terrorized by a troll. Good special effects.
