While posing as an intern in order to meet Dr. Stan Knight (Hank Azaria), Jamie meets Parkinson's Disease patient Maggie Murdock (Anne Hathaway) who is a free spirit and not ready to settle down. As they get together, over time love blooms and, for the first time, Jamie and Maggie learn what it means to really fall in love.
