Lucia's father, Miguel (Carlos Mencia), runs a towing service, and her mother, Sonia (Diana-Maria Riva) designs jewelry. Marcus' father, Brad Boyd (Forest Whitaker) lives in a bachelor pad and entertains a variety of women. The families decide to honor both cultures' traditions during the wedding ceremony, and chaos ensues with only Brad's friend and lawyer Angela (Regina King) managing to keep her cool.
