One of the students, Simon (Devon Bostick), relates the story to his personal history in when his suicide-bomber father Sami (Noam Jenkins) wrecked a car, and he and Simon's mother Rachel (Rachel Blanchard) were killed, leaving Simon orphaned and now living with his Uncle Tom (Scott Speedman). Simon goes one step further and fashions the story by describing his father as a killer and posting the story on the Internet. The story now becomes an obsession provoking discussions about the difference between freedom fighters and terrorists.
