But, she has never had a child, and that is something she wants more than anything else. When she learns that her chances of getting pregnant are nil, Kate's solution is to contact a fertility agency run by Chaffee Bicknell (Sigourney Weaver) and decides that Angie (Amy Poehler) will be the surrogate mother. A short time later, when now-pregnant Angie appears at Kate's door with no place to live, Kate invites her to move in. Chaos and comedy reign as the slovenly Angie takes over Kate's well-ordered world.
