Moments later, an explosion creates more havoc in the area. Agents Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) and Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) begin their investigation into what has occurred. They start with American TV news producer Rex Brooks (Sigourney Weaver) who has been relaying events to viewers around the world. Meanwhile, an American tourist, Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), has also captured the scene, including who he thinks is the assassin, on videotape. As Brooks, Lewis, and others reveal their stories, the agents fit new clues from different perspectives into the puzzle while they search for answers about the assassination.
