Martian Child   2007         PG, 108 min. Six-year-old Dennis (Bobby Coleman) moves in with David, and the adoption process begins. But, there is a problem: Dennis believes he is from Mars, and both David and his sister Liz (Cusack's real-life sister Joan Cusack) begin to suspect that Dennis may be telling the truth. Dennis speaks Martian and, among other things, can make "Martian Wishes" that make baseball players hit home runs, and can even make stoplights change color. David goes along with what Dennis says and does and, in the process, becomes a better man.
