Dangerous When Wet   1953         N/R, 95 min. They are all good swimmers and are convinced by shady promoter Windy Webbe (Jack Carson) that they should compete in a swimming race across the English Channel as the way to raise money to buy the bull. They arrive in England where, one day while practicing for her swim, Katie meets dashing Frenchman Andre Lanet (Fernando Lamas) who both helps and distracts Katie in her preparations for the race. But, Katie does succeed in her swim, and Andre even jumps in and swims the final mile with her. A highlight of this film involves the cartoon sequence representing Katie's dream in which she swims with Tom and Jerry.
