But, not all of the prisoners have patriotism in mind, and they plan a robbery after which a reformed safecracker—and the only honest one of the group—Dooley Watson (Erik Rolf) becomes the prime suspect. By story's end, Blackie and the parolees have learned to work together, and Blackie is rewarded by getting a new set of convicts to work with.
