Then, one night, Joanne walks into the kitchen and is kidnapped by aliens. Afterwards, they remove Joanne's memory of them and leave her on her patio with a fan-shaped bruise on her abdomen. As she tries to sleuth out the mystery, Joanne joins a UFO support group where she meets and joins forces with Abraham (Isaach De Bankole). Together, Joanne and Abraham convince the UFO support group to help them break into the Brooklyn Art Museum in order to steal a certain artifact. Their actions result in saving the whole world.
