Away from Her   2007             PG-13, 110 min. She is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and decides it is time to move into Meadowlake nursing home. Meadowlake's rules allow new patients no visitors for the first 30 days. Grant honors the rule, returns for a visit after the orientation period, and is devastated when he realizes that Fiona does not remember him. Even more difficult to face is the fact that Fiona's affections have transferred to a fellow patient: mute, wheelchair bound Aubrey (Michael Murphy). Now, Grant must gradually accept that loving is also letting go.
