Angela (Kelly Preston), along with 16-year-old daughter Dixie Leigh (Lindsey Haun), is returning to the home of her parents—Jake and Dixie Rose (Burt Reynolds and Tess Harper) for the funeral of her brother who was killed in the same accident. Bo had abandoned pregnant Angela years before when she was a teenager. During the next few days, broken hearts are mended among the three generations of unhappy souls.
