Another stipulation is that he cannot tell anyone about the inheritance. Brewster goes on a spending spree putting his money into bad investments, all of which turn into surprising profits. In the midst of his frenzy to spend the money, personal problems arise when he must postpone his wedding to Peggy (Helen Walker) but cannot tell her why.
