Their new Jeep breaks down in a Southwest desert, and Amy accepts a ride from truck driver Red Barr (J.T. Walsh) who offers to take her to a diner where she can call for help. Jeff manages to fix the Jeep, but Amy has not returned. After driving to the diner, Jeff meets Red who claims that he never saw Amy. Jeff files a missing person's report and learns that there are others who have disappeared while traveling that stretch of desert. Now, the question is: Who can Jeff trust?
