The romance seems a lost cause when Teller receives orders out of Paris.    1 User Review User Review 02/14/2007    This movie is virtually a true story as it has happened many times over in so many places around the world. Not only where American GI`s are stationed but many other foreign troops for that matter. There is always the typical obstacles such as permission from the C.O, host government, red tape, language, culture, etc. This is a must see. Very enjoyable inspite of its unfortunate tragic end.
