Fox) cast a spell on the infant Ella that gave her the gift of obedience. But now Ella (Anne Hathaway) is a young woman who finds the "gift" a problem when she is abused by her new, evil stepmother and step-sisters. So, Ella sets off on a journey to find Lucinda and get the spell removed. You guessed it, good things happen in the form of a handsome prince (Hugh Dancy) during Ella's search for Lucinda.
