This made-for-cable TV film is based on a real event that is often considered to have been the most intense shootout in Los Angeles Police history. On February 28, 1997, two bank robbers—who were known as "The High Incident Bandits" due to their crime spree—attempted to rob a bank in North Hollywood. The heavily armed pair kept numerous police and S.W.A.T. team members at bay for 44 minutes. This film recreates (with some fictionalization) that event. 1 User Review
