The film follows the planning of the robbery, it's execution, and events following the heist. As the thieves are arrested one-by-one, Buster is able to elude the police. He and his family finally make it to Mexico, but his wife, June (Julie Walters), wants to return—which they do at a cost. Collins' original song "Two Hearts" won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar. .
