This film begins with the discovery of an ear in a field. The police have no leads, but two young people (Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern) become involved when they decide to investigate a cabaret singer (Isabella Rossellini). Kinda weird. An Oscar nomination was received for Best Director.
