Each of the four owners' stories are presented in this film: (1) "Method for Murder"—a mystery writer is killed in a manner similar to one of his book's victims; (2) "Waxworks"—the owner is lured to a wax museum where an axe awaits; (3) "Sweets to the Sweet"—a man's daughter is into voodoo dolls; and (4) "The Cloak"—a horror film star is provided with a vampire's cloak.
