Unconditional Love   2002             PG-13, 121 min. Genre: Comedy Director: P.J. Hogan   Cast: Kathy Bates, Rupert Everett, Meredith Eaton, Peter Sarsgaard, Lynn Redgrave, Stephanie Beacham, Richard Briers, Marcia Warren, Jack Noseworthy, Daniel Wyllie, Dan Aykroyd, Jonathan Pryce   Grace's (Kathy Bates) husband runs out on her, so, of course, she heads to London for the funeral of her pop-singer idol who had been murdered. There she meets the star's secret lover, Dirk (Rupert Everett), who, also of course, is grief-stricken. The two team up to find the killer, with the trail leading to Chicago. Good cast, weak comedy/mystery.    2 User Reviews User Reviews lovely movie barhoy 03/17/2013    as a mature australian male i would never have willingly watched this movie, but circumstances arose where i could not leave the showing. My original thought was to faint illness to avoid it as soppy love stories are not for me. BUT i was impressed. The story was intertesting and the title song great. I have since hired the dvd several times and love it every time. Brings my deeply hidden emotions to the surface. Sadly i cant tell any of my friends that i love this movie as ozzie guys are strong and rarely show emotion. lovely beautiful movie thank you to the cast. Loved it. MeKate 06/08/2011
