Reluctantly, she moves in with her overbearing mother (Marsha Mason). Back in her childhood home, she recalls her imaginary childhood friend, Drop Dead Fred (Rik Mayall), who helped her through her early life. The thoughts bring Drop Dead Fred back, and he sets out to take care of those who have hurt Elizabeth. A dark, dark comedy.
