Pipe Dream   2002         R, 91 min. Pyper, Anthony Arkin, Marla Sucharetza, Kevin Sussman   In a scheme to attract beautiful actresses, a NYC plumber, David (Martin Donovan), convinces his friend and casting agent (Kevin Carroll) to put out a call for a bogus audition. Then, he steals parts of his neighbor Toni's (Mary-Louise Parker) un-produced screenplay. The ploy works, and soon David is directing a movie. Toni now recognizes her chance for success, goes along with the sham, and even feeds David directing instructions.
