The wedding is postponed so that children can be rescued from an orphanage in the middle of a battlefield. Meanwhile, Megan is knocked out and saved by Chinese warlord General Yen (Nils Asther). She is brought to his palace and falls in love with him. When his empire is destroyed, Megan stays with him as he drinks his last bitter tea.
