Impersonating an outlaw named Gat Ganns, Ted joins Mr. Gentry's (Lloyd Whitlock) gang. Ted falls in love with Fay Winters (Virginia Brown Faire) and saves her ranch from Gentry's gang. He also rescues Spud and later learns that it is Gentry who killed his parents.
