Marcus, Robert Frazer, Earl Dwire, Reed Howes, Artie Ortego, Iris Lancaster, Eddie Parker, Tex Palmer   While traveling on a train, Rod Drew (John Wayne) meets his old friend, card shark Wabi (Noah Beery Jr.), who has been framed for murder. Rod helps Wabi escape, and they end up at Wabinosh General Store where Rod meets and falls in love with the owner's (Noah Beery) daughter Felice (Verna Hillie). Rod and Wabi hear about a map leading to a gold mine and track down the map but find the owner dead. In the dead man's cabin is a portrait of his daughter who they identify as Felice. After more than a few problems, Rod and Wabi capture the villains and deliver them to the police, and, by story's end, Rod rides off into the sunset with Felice.
