He is a confused young man who Bill Hill (Christopher Walken) hopes to exploit—with help from Lynn (Bridget Fonda)—as a member of his evangelism business. Hill plots to have Lynn tell Juvenal that she is an alcoholic in need of help, but when Lynn meets Juvenal, she is attracted to him and has second thoughts about carrying out Hill's plan. Meanwhile, Reverend August Murray (Tom Arnold) believes that Lynn is not a good influence on Juvenal and wants her out of Juvenal's life.
