If he will track down Sam Bass (William Bishop) and his notorious outlaw gang, Carver will be given his freedom. Carver agrees to the deal but is more interested in seeking vengeance against The Sundance Kid (Ian MacDonald) who was responsible for sending him to prison. Problems lie ahead, but Carver finally decides to go along with the deal and tracks down Bishop.
