The Beverly Hillbillies   1993         PG, 93 min. Genre: Comedy Director: Penelope Spheeris   Cast: Jim Varney, Dabney Coleman, Cloris Leachman, Lily Tomlin, Diedrich Bader, Buddy Ebsen, Erika Eleniak, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Dolly Parton, Lea Thompson   This movie is an updated version of the television show that aired during the 1960s. All the characters are back as is all of the corn. Nevertheless, for "Beverly Hillbillies" fans, this is another chance to see new actors in the tried and true roles of Jed, Granny, and their family and friends. Unfortunately, the script and execution are not as good as the series.
